Do you commute south on Route 63 through Bethany? Are there people or issues in your life you could use a prayer for? If so, you will have a unique opportunity to start your day with a fresh cup of coffee and a prayer as you approach the blinking light at the center of Bethany. Members of the Churches of Bethany (Christ Episcopal Church and First Church of Christ, Congregational, UCC) will be waiting there on three autumn Tuesday mornings to welcome you with hot coffee and a personal prayer, right through your car window. In a few minutes, you’ll be pulling back out toward work again, supported and ready for the day.
Coffee and a Prayer will be offered on October 21, 28 and November 4 from 8-8:30AM. Be watching for the signs on Rte 63.
